REVIEW: BOL Immunity Power Soup Butternut Squash & Chilli

With the house move I barely cooked so popped to the local Coop to get lunch and being gluten free when I am out it is hard to find things so thought I would try new items.

INGREDIENTS:

Water, Butternut Squash (27%), Carrots, Coconut Cream (Coconut Extract, Water), Red Lentils, Cannellini Beans, Sweet Potatoes (3%), Ginger Puree, Rapeseed Oil, Sunflower Seeds, Vegetable Stock (Vegetable Concentrates (Carrot, Onion, Leek), Salt, Water, White Pepper), Salt, Coriander, Cornflour, Ground Turmeric, Dried Red Chilli Flakes, Ground Black Pepper


NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION (for 300g):

  • Energy: 591 kJ

  • Energy: 153 kcal

  • Fat: 5.4g

  • - of which saturates: 3.3g

HOW TO COOK:

Microwave

  1. After opening, place lid loosely on pot, leaving a venting gap.

  2. 800W. Heat for 3 mins, stir. Heat for further 2 mins (or 11/2 mins on 900W).

  3. Careful, pot will be hot.

  4. Leave to stand in the microwave for 2 minutes before removing using a tea towel / oven gloves. Stir and enjoy straight from pot or pour into bowls.


Hob

  1. Pour soup into a saucepan & stir on a low/med heat for 6-8 mins until hot.

  2. Pour back into the pot or pour into bowls. When you've finished please re-use your pot.

Really flavourful and would definitely buy it again but definitely need some bread with it.
