Wendy's (Leeds 2025)

I saw that Leeds had a Wendy's so had to try it.

They have a load of self service screens, I think it is a cashless site and only order through the screens. The drink dispenser has mainly sugar free drinks.

I may have over ordered.

I got myself a dispenser drink which of course got the Dr Pepper Zero.

I got the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger: Fresh British beef, Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato (REMOVED), and Heinz mayo. The burger was okay, nothing special, the bacon was over cooked, it was really chewy.

I got myself a Signature Chicken Wrap: all white meat, filler free chicken (classic, spicy or grilled - I chose spicy) topped with shredded cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, and Heinz mayo - all served on a warm tortilla, this was okay, I would get it again.

I chose the Baconator Fries: natural-cut, skin-on, sea-salted fries topped with warm, creamy cheese sauce, shredded cheddar, and crispy Applewood smoked bacon, could be a lot better, the cheese wasn't melted on top, there was barely any cheese sauce and it was full of bacon grease going claggy.

I got myself a Jr. Vanilla Frosty: Wendy's Signature dessert - cool, creamy and refreshing - thick enough to use a spoon, smooth enough to use a straw, best part of the meal.
