voco Oxford Thames by IHG (Oxford 2025)

My good friend Caitlin had her wedding in Oxford at this exact wedding, well she got married in a church but the wedding breakfast and after party was here so I decided to stay the night or actually two.



First of all how gorgeous is this hotel, it is absolutely stunning.



I don't want to start off in a bad way however, my room was on the first floor, that's fine. However there was no lift and I had the BIGGEST suitcase.



I walked into the room, and it was absolutely lovely. Here's a look at my space: there's a huge, cozy bed and a beautiful television (I've blurred the screen where my surname appears). The room also features a charming seating area, which I fully took advantage of as the perfect setting for filming my YouTube videos.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, I had the best sleep! Everything felt just right. There's also a fridge and a drinks station, which added to the convenience. Overall, the room is super cute, cozy, and made me feel right at home.



The bathroom was perfect for me, it had a bath, I wish I stayed a little longer because I would have had one but traveling on the Friday I was tired and tried to get as much done as possible then the wedding was on Saturday and didn't make it to bed until past midnight so I just showered. The pressure of the shower was quite good.



One thing I didn't mention is on arrival you get a piece of honeycomb, they have beehives near the driveway entrance which is so adorable.


I am planning to go visit Caitlin and her new hubby soon so I might make a long weekend and stay again and use the facilities that are at this place such as the spa and pool.
