Me and the family went to The West Park Restaurant to celebrate my mum graduating university.
The reason we went here for dinner was because Mum wanted to, I walk past it quite often when I go to the gym and it smells delicious.
I don't think myself very fussy but the menu wasn't impressive to me, I really wanted to try the Fresh Tuna Steak but it is served with tomato tarte tatin which doesn't sound nice to me (I hate tomatoes). I don't like pork belly so wouldn't have that but I have to say when the tables around us was being served it smelt and looked delicious so I take my words back.
I ordered Yorkshire Wagyu Burger with bacon, it came with chunky chips in a brioche bun with salad and cheese, I asked for no house relish and I am glad I chose this, it was really good.
I expected the prices to be a little more expensive but it was reasonably priced, the place was clean, the atmosphere was nice and chill, the staff were really friendly but not too friendly and pushy.
