Me and the family are trying to find a decent Chinese takeaway in Harrogate so thought I would do blog posts about them when we try so we can go back and see which we thought was the best.
As you can see we did a big order, it came in the frozen chip box, I saw a social media post about a Chinese takeaway isn't a proper Chinese takeaway in England if it doesn't come in a cardboard box.
My plate looks very full, so let's go through what we ordered.

Prawn crackers, standard, cooked well.
I love Chinese Chicken & Sweetcorn soup so this was good.

Standard chips, I find chips from Chinese takeaways bland on their own but good with the various sauces.

I have three things I love from the Chinese and one of them is Salt & Pepper chicken balls, these were the best I have ever tried.

Sweet and sour chicken balls, I don't do the sauce but the chicken balls were delicious.

Egg Foo Yung is a nice dish, this one was cooked well.

Vegetable chow mein is one of my three favourite dishes, I wish there were more water chestnuts in this but otherwise I could eat bowls of this.

Salt and pepper chips were spicy but good.

Chop suey is a dish I like getting, love all of the bean sprouts and the sauce..

I can't understand people who don't order egg fried rice, this was well cooked.

Chinese chicken curry is standard, Mayflower is exactly the same.

Szechuan is a dish I always order, really nice, not too spicy.
My favourite dessert is fortune cookies.
I would go to this Chinese takeaway again.
