REVIEW: Seche Vite® Dry Fast Top Coat

You may have seen that I did a review on another Seche product back in September 2020 and love it, if you want to read that then click here, but I wanted to try out the original and the one claimed as the best.

CLAIMS:

• Acknowledged as the world’s finest top coat

• Patented formula allows it to penetrate through the nail lacquer to the base coat forming a single solid coating over the nail plate for a much more durable finish which is guaranteed not to yellow

• Seche Vite is unmatched as a top coat leaving the nail silky feeling, stronger, more durable, absolutely will not chip and creates the highest gloss of any product on the market today

PACKAGING:

Simple but sleek

INGREDIENTS:

Butyl Acetate, Toluene, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Trimethyl Pentanyl Diisobutyrate, Butoxyethanol, Dimethicone, Benzophenone-1

HOW TO:

1. Apply thickly, get a nice bead on the end of the brush, then set softly down on the first nail painted

I thought I would use the same base coat and same cuticle oil so it would be a fair point.

Essie Licorice

My nails aren't completely dry.

Applied the top coat and it dried pretty quick.

It dried quick but not completely, I noticed after about 10 minutes I smudged a nail slightly.

The top coat has been applied and didn't dry as quick as I wanted as I smudged my little finger on my right hand.

OPI Another Ramen-tic Evening

Messy but wanted to get my nails done quickly.

I really love this glossy nail polish colour.

Even over the love heart bits it looks good and helps to smooth over.

Overall I like the top coat but prefer the other top coat I bought, this one doesn't dry as quick and isn't solid like the other.
