REVIEW: Samyang Buldak Spicy Seasoned Chicken Flavour Ramen

I love Samyang so I wanted to try all of the different flavours so during this week I thought I would share with you. I got these from Wonderlust in Leicester.



PACKAGING:

Foil packet


INGREDIENTS: WHEAT flour, refined palm oil, potato starch, gluten, SOYBEAN oil, salt, acidity regulators: potassium carbonate, sodium carbonate; thickener: guar gum; emulsifier: E322; antioxidant: E306.

Soup base (liquid): Water, refined SOY SAUCE (water, SOYBEAN, WHEAT, salt), sugar, red pepper extract, garlic, onion extract, MILK powder, flavour enhancers: E621, E635; thickener: xanthan gum, SESAME oil.

Flakes: Roasted SESAME seeds, roasted seaweed flake


NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION (per 100g):

  • Energy: 1430 kJ

  • Energy: 341 kcal

  • Fat: 15g

  • - of which saturates: 6g

  • Carbohydrate: 45g

  • - of which sugars: 5g

  • Protein: 8g

  • Salt: 3.5g


I couldn't read the packaging for the instructions so what I did was the following:

  1. Boil 500ml of water in a pan.

  1. Add the noodles to the water and cook for 4 minutes.



  1. Add the sauce and mix together.



  1. Add the flakes and mix together.



These were really nice, not mega spicy but nice although I don't feel like they taste much different to the half spice versions.
