FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturiser

I went into Space NK a while ago and asked a staff member to recommend a foundation for dry skin, the employer sat me down and went through loads of different one, shade matching me and this is what she suggested.

Before we start I use the Benefit POREfessional on the right side of my face (left in the picture). I use this primer when I have a long day so thought I would see how it works with and without primer. Also the only other face product I use is a bronzer to contour, I don’t want to use any concealer or powders that might effect the way the foundation sits and the end review will be a full face.

Every time I do a first impression or review of a foundation I get a brand new or freshly washed BeautyBlender.

Bare face just skincare.

Primer on the one side.

When I apply foundation I start with the side without primer so I don't cross contaminate, the foundation applied, it blends out quite naturally.

Contoured with my usual products of NARS with Zoeva and Morphe brush starting on the side without primer first.

Makeup all done, it is quite natural looking.

17:29: still looks quite good, natural looking.

I am using a freshly washed FARMASI Foundation Brush, my favourite foundation brush at the moment.

Bare face just skincare.

Primer on the one side.

Foundation applied firstly on the side without primer and then the primer side, don't want to cross contaminate.

Contoured with my NARS with Zoeva and Morphe brush starting on the side without primer first.

Makeup all done.

19:13: the makeup has creased, it doesn't look good nearer to the end of the day and I noticed the side with primer was worse.

I am not sure about this tinted moisturiser, I feel like my skin needs more of a foundation, I have a bit of a breakout at the moment with spots and dry skin which is a normal sign that I am getting ill but I do feel it is more of a light coverage, I may come back to this and give it another go and see if it can be more fuller, maybe medium coverage.
