First Class on East Midlands Railway (Sheffield to Leicester 2025)

I thought I would share my journey to Leicester from Sheffield.

First of all my train got cancelled but was allowed to get onto the next one, there had been an incident so every other train was cancelled.

Even though I had a booked seat the staff told me that I would need to find an available seat which I did. I am glad I got on at Sheffield because stops after that got on and had to stand and I would have been annoyed that I wouldn't have gotten a seat.

There was a menu on the table with the snacks and bits.

I didn't get a drink but what I did get is some crisps and gluten free Walker's shortbread.

The train is a bit battered inside so could do with a bit of TLC.
